Measured, not asserted

★ ratings come from real papers

Nobody sits down and decides a topic feels important. A tool reads the past papers and revision test papers on disk, counts how often each point actually appears, and writes the stars from the count. An author cannot overrule the evidence.

  • Past papers and RTPs kept in separate columns — blending them hides both the near-certainty and the untested signal.
  • Where the count disagrees with ICAI's own chapter weight, you see both and can trust the count for revision order.
  • A zero is shown as a zero, with the reason — a withdrawn deduction is genuinely not being asked.

Not "how much have you studied" — will you finish in time. The Strategy room takes your pace history, what's left, and your actual attempt date, and gives you a verdict you can act on this week.

Why you can trust a number in here

Every chapter has to pass the gates

A wrong threshold learned confidently is worse than no notes at all. So no chapter ships until a set of checkers has read it against ICAI's own module — not a person's memory of it.

Read from the module, then checked against it

Chapters are written from the actual ICAI PDF, not from recall. That matters most where the law moved: rates, thresholds and holding periods all shifted in recent finance acts, and memory would happily hand you the old ones.

  • Coverage is measured, chapter by chapter, against the module's own section headings — so "we covered it" is a number, not a claim.
  • Editions are first-class. Each paper declares which Study Material edition it's built on, and it's shown to you rather than assumed.
  • Every figure is cross-checked. A conflicting amount anywhere in a chapter fails the build until a human resolves it.

Is Bodhya Edge connected to ICAI?
No. Bodhya Edge is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It is built to be used alongside ICAI's Study Material, never instead of it — the official module and the latest ICAI announcements remain the authority on your syllabus.
What exactly is free and what is paid?
Everything described on this page — the chapter notes inside the app, the three map tiers, the MCQ bank, flashcards, mocks, planner and analytics — is the paid tool. The free shelf is a separate set of downloadable notes and revision sheets, published deliberately, one file at a time. Nothing moves from paid to free by accident.
Why do I need to give a phone number for free stuff?
Because the free shelf isn't a one-off download — it grows, one sheet at a time, per level. A profile is how a new sheet for your level reaches you instead of sitting on a page you'd have to remember to revisit, and it's how a reminder gets to you before your attempt. Email and mobile are the only two things asked for: no card, no address, no ID. Ask us and both are deleted. The same profile becomes your login when the paid tool opens, so nothing has to be set up twice.
Which levels can I actually use today?
All three are being built, at different depths. Intermediate is furthest along — five of six papers complete end to end. Final has four papers substantially written, including the largest MCQ bank in the project. Foundation has Accounting written and three papers still to author. The Numbers section above is the live scoreboard, paper by paper. Rather than open a thin version of everything at once, each paper opens when it clears the accuracy gates.
Which edition of the Study Material is it built on?
Each paper declares its own edition and you can see it inside the tool. That's deliberate: ICAI reprints papers on different cycles, and a finance-act change can move a rate, a threshold or a holding period without the chapter around it changing at all. A checker scans for stale edition stamps so a paper can't quietly drift out of date.
Does my progress leave my device?
No. What you've studied, your ratings, your planner and your mock results are stored in your own browser. There's no progress account and no analytics on your study behaviour.
Do I need to install anything?
No — it runs in a browser, on a laptop or a phone. There's no app store download and nothing to keep updated.
When does it open, and what will it cost?
Both get announced together, and free-profile holders hear first. There's no pre-order and nothing to pay now — putting a number on this page before Foundation and Final are finished would be guessing at your expense.
